LAUREL HIGHLANDS HIKING TRAIL (LHHT) FEATURED WEEKEND HIKING PACKAGE

The scenic hike is from the PA Route 31 Trailhead (Mile 30.6) to U.S. Route 30 Trailhead (Mile 45.8) and camp overnight at the PA Turnpike Shelter Area (Mile 38.2). The total hike is a little over 15 miles in two-days and a great opportunity for those who want to experience the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail without having to hike the entire 70 miles or for those who are looking for an active weekend getaway!

Package Includes:

Meet at the Trailhead where you will begin your hike, coordinate and receive equipment to be transported. Transportation of your camping equipment (backpack, sleeping bag, and a small cooler) to the PA Turnpike Shelter area for your arrival and a pick-up the next morning to be transported back to your vehicle.

The package also includes overnight use of two sleeping pads, two camp chairs, and a Coleman Gas Grill/Stove.

There are 5 shelters available with fireplaces. Firewood and restrooms are also available at the camp site.

Package price is $250.00 for up two persons. $50.00 per person will be added for groups more than two.

GREAT ALLEGHENY PASSAGE (GAP) FEATURED WEEKEND BIKING PACKAGE

This thrilling bike trip is from Ohiopyle, PA (GAP 71.3) to Cumberland, MD (GAP 0) and camp overnight at Maple Festival Park in Meyersdale, PA (Mile 32). The two-day trip is 72 miles and provides a great opportunity for you to experience some of the most scenic views of the Allegheny Mountains while biking through tunnels and across impressive viaducts. It's a great, active weekend getaway.

Package Includes:

Meet at Ohiopyle, PA where you will begin your bike trip, coordinate and receive equipment to be transported.

Transportation of your camping equipment (backpack, sleeping bag, and a small cooler) to the Maple Festival Park in Meyersdale, PA for your arrival then picked up again the next morning and transported to Cumberland MD.

The package also includes overnight use of a tent and set- up, two sleeping pads, two camp chairs, and a Coleman Gas Grill/Stove.

Package price is $225.00 for up two persons. $50.00 per person will be added for groups more than two.

LAUREL HIGHLANDS HIKING TRAIL HIKE AND GREAT ALLEGHENY PASSAGE BIKE COMBO PACKAGE

Maybe you want to experience both hiking and biking on the LHHT and GAP. If so, this package is for you! This awesome, scenic and exhilarating adventure is four days of hiking and biking and three nights of camping. You will begin with a two-day hike (19 miles) of the LHHT and complete the combo with a two-day bike tour (71 miles) of the GAP.

Package Includes:

DAY 1: Meet at the LHHT Route 653 Trailhead (Mile 19) where you will begin your hike to coordinate your hike and receive equipment to be transported (including your bikes for the GAP portion of the trip). Transportation of your camping equipment (backpack, sleeping bag, and a small cooler) to the Ohiopyle Shelter area (Mile 7) in the great Laurel Highlands of PA for when you arrive.

DAY 2: We’ll greet you with a good morning and pick up your gear and transport it to your second campsite at Kentuck Campground in Ohiopyle State Park (Mile 0 on the LHHT and Mile 71 on the GAP). You will need to hike across the High Bridge and use the .5 mile Campground Connector Trail to the Kentuck Campground. Your bikes will be waiting at camp for your beautiful Day 3 ride on the GAP.

DAY 3: We'll pick up your gear in the morning and transport it to Maple Festival Park in Meyersdale, PA (Mile 32).

DAY 4: We pick up your gear in the morning and transport it to your vehicle in Cumberland, MD. **The package also includes overnight use of Coleman Tent for nights 2 and 3, two sleeping pads, two camp chairs, and a Coleman Gas Grill/Stove.

Package price is $550.00 for up two persons. A cost of $150.00 per person will be added for groups more than two.

Package can also be adjusted to a partial outfitting instead of complete outfitting package and tailored to your needs.
